Impact of a work trip to Iran on Greencard Process

Hey guys .. My wifes work want to send her on a work trip to Iran. Currently we are waiting on her green card consular application for an interview . The trip most likey will be before her greencard interview. We are not sure if this will negatively impact her visa application process . Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

One cannot say for certain how it will impact her application however I believe Iran is on the list for sponsors of Terrorism. The trip may not hurt her application but Im pretty sure it will not help.

Make sure she keeps enough documentation about the trip so she can prove its for work purposes, not her own personal agenda.
