I applied for dependent green card for my wife in F2A category.As you know it will take a while becos of retrogression. Can she apply for visitor visa to the US to visit me and what are the chances she will get one based on recent experiences. Does the fact that she has made her immigration intent clear with GC application help now?

Chances are VERY LOW. It is probably a waste of her time, effort and money.

They know she wants to immigrate, so chances are something like 0.001% theyll approve the visa. Maybe 1% if she has a history of visiting the US without overstaying, and is from a country with a low rate of overstay.
