Please, I need some help understanding the continuous residency requirement for someone married to a US citizen.

Do you have to stay in the US for 3 years without leaving the country at all or is 3 months in that 3 year period ok to travel abroad without a break in continuity?

Foreign travel of less than six months duration is presumed to NOT break continuous residence.

I had to double check because I read other threads with different answers and got confused despite reading the real Guide to naturalization on the USCIS site which basically said what you said.
