Hi,
My brother lives in India, working for a MNC. He has never been to US. I recently got my cz and want to apply I130. Can you please advise if there is any impact on his chances of getting H1B or L1 visas during the time I 130 is pending?

H1 and L1 both are ok with I-130 as those two have a immigrant intent in them anyway. Now a visitor or a student visa will have a adverse effect on a visa app if a I-130 is pending.

My brothers birth certificate does not have his name on it. Will it be OK if we get a notarized affidavit from parents stating that the BC is true and he is their son with the name?
Please share if you have an affidavit for the same purpose..

H1 and L1 both are ok with I-130 as those two have a immigrant intent in them anyway. No, they dont. They cannot be denied based on immigrant intent, but thats a world of difference from having immigrant intent attached to them.
