partner applying for USC, how do we apply for my green card after marriage to be together?I am a british citizen and getting married at end of september. My partner lives and works in America and is currently applying for citizenship. Can I visit him on a tourist visa after marriage before we apply for permanent resident status for me?

no we are not a same sex couple, He works out there and has been for over 10 years. We are planning to get married in september. I am currently in the UK and have never visited the USA before. The issue is that as a british citizen I can visit the USA but I want to know what we should do to apply for me to stay there with him. He is currently applying for his citizenship and the process is still ongoing at the moment?
