Im here on an F1 visa and got married to a USC.

On the I-765 #11 it says

- Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?

I worked on campus so I aready have a valid for work only with DHS authorization SSN

should I mark it as a yes or a no ?

And if I should mark it as a yes what kind of paper work do I need?

I only have the SSC with me, I cant find any paper works...

The answer is unless you have applied for OPT and you received a EAD card. NO. I f you received EAD card for OPT or CPT then you should say yes and fill in the information. From my I 765 form

should I mark it as a yes or a no ? Answer No, unless you got an EAD card for OPT. Merely getting an SSN to work on campus in F-1 status is not considered "applying for work authorization" in this context.
