Hi guys, new here, but Ill just jump straight to the question.
I have been married to a usc for over 3yrs. Married 2006, filled my 1-485 in 03/2007
Got my interview this August and the interviewer adviced that I will be issued a 10 yrs. GC.
Now whats bugging me is, on the welcome letter, the last paragraph mentions that my GC is conditional not to mention which I just learnt that after the interview, my passport should have been stamped.
Anyone had this happen to them or anyone with a clue as to what may be in play here? please advice and thanks in advance.
Infopass
Friend,
I would wait for the card to arrive in the mail and check how long is valid for before making an infopass. Remember that it is possible they send you a letter with wrong wording and the actual card might be correct...
Are you traveling anytime soon? If not, then you dont need the stamp as they anticipate mailing you the card in the next 30 days or so...
Ditto on what Al said, wait on the card and you were told wrong, you do not need a stamp but can get one if you need to travel soon
GC welcome letter is incorrect.
