Is this true or just a myth?

I came on a visa waiver married before it ran out and stayed..... I am about to send in all my forms and want to be sure well be ok for that part... does USCIS actually say this anywhere??

Also, does anyone know if I have to have the medical before I send in my forms... I will be doing 130 and 485 at the same time.....

Is this true or just a myth? No myth. If you are the spouse, minor child or parent of a US citizen, an overstay cannot be used to deny your I-485.
