i-485 and DWI
i have read through some of the blogs related and hope someone can help me out with my case, i filed my i485 application and i have received my fingerprinting application set for the 10/14/09. This past weekend i was arrested for SIMPLE DWI and i am due to go to court on 11/10. Now can someone help me out on what to expect from USCIS. Will my process be in jeorpardy now.
Since i had already filed my paperwork prior to getting arrested, should i inform immigration and have them add this to my paperwork or should i wait for my interview and bring it up.
I would appreciate any help on this.
Wait for your interview. DWIs are bad as far as immigration is concerned. However, I dont know if one DWI is going to do much harm.
Not an immigration advice but WTF were you thinking? How would you like one in your family to be killed by a drunk driver?

What is a simple DWI? As far as I know, anyone asked to appear in court for a DWI cant claim the issue is a simple one. Where you FP for this incident and mug shot taken? In the past, have you ever being arrested for a similar case or something else? How much was the fine for this arrest? (If any?) Do you have a lawyer representing you for this case or you are going to face-off with the officer and DA?
