What is the expected wait time as of now for getting a GC for spouse if the GC is being applied for by a USC in New York?

Someone told me it is almost 15 months but I thought as a spouse of a USC it is just 3 months or so.

It all varies. My experience is neither 3 nor 15 months, as you can read on my time line. I would say 6-8 months is an average.

There is no standard time really. I waited a few months, and others at the same office with the same IO even, are still waiting a year later.

Agree with the previous poster....it can take anywhere from a few months to 2 years....
