TN->GC in progress - can I quit my job?
I am currently employed in the US on TN status. I have applied for family based green card (married to US citizen). My EAD has not yet been approved but is pending.
If I leave my job, I assume that my TN will no longer be valid - does this mean I am out of status? Would this have any effect on my green card application?

If I485 is pending, you are considered legal even though you are not employed.
