Hi All,

I am in a tricky situation. I was sponsored by my mom whos a US Citizen and I got my green card in Feb 2005. I was married and had a kid even before i got the green card. But i didnt disclose this to the USCIS as mine was already in process for a while and didnt want to prolong that any further.

My wife and daughter are back in my home country and I dont know the options I have for bringing them to USA.

Once I am a citizen can i go ahead and sponsor them and if so what will be the process like.

Basically, you got GC about 2 years earlier than you are supposed to because you got it under F1 though you were actually under F3.

They know when he got married from marriage certificate or so, also know when he got GC under which category. So, they have all the materials, but well, USCIS "sometimes" makes mistakes.. so....
