Greencard for Brother/Sister
Hi all,
I just got US citizenship. My sister is US in F-2 visa and my brother is in India in. Both are over 21 years. I would like to sponshor them for greencard. How long it will take?

Based on the current waiting period, it will take more than 10 years.
About 15 years. Your sister must maintain her legal status in the USA, for an i-130 petition provides her with no status.
According to the current visa bulletin, here are the processing times depending on country of origin.
If your sibling is from:
China = 11.5 years
India = 11.3 years
Mexico = 13.8 years
Philippines = 22.7 years
All other countries = 11 years
