Am I entitled to Financial Aid for college after having my GC

I was wondering if I could apply for a student loan (I got my GC ON 8/14/07), I plan on going back to school.

Are you sure, cause I believe you have to be a PR for at least 5 years to be entitled for student loan, if not USCIS can go after your sponsor or co-sponsor.
