Hi all,
I just received this I-130 approval notice for my wife in the mail today. The case was filed back in early 2004 at TX center but the letter (approval notice) was generated from CA center. Now, how long does she have before she gets her GC & become a perm resident.
Secondly, if all goes well I should God willing become a citizen too in about a months time, In that case I can send a copy of this approval notice along with 485 form & other required documents, isnt it. If I do that, how much time frame were looking at for her to get her GC.
B4 I forget, I live in Atlanta, GA.
Please respond back.
Thanks a bunch.

since she cant even apply for AOS yet, its hard to tell when she will get her GC.

several months, if she doesnt get stuck in a name check.

I didnt know that females get stuck in name check as well. Wow.....thats a news to me. I know 3 friends of mine and their wives got their GC in 90 days or less, keeping in mind they had filed I-130 too, but if in my case I-130 is already approved, I was assuming that the process would go slightly faster.
Hey Atlanta_Bro, please make up your mind where you want to discuss this thread. So far Ive seen you cross-post this to the Citizenship forum, and I guess I just wasted my time answering what had already been answered here.
