Filing for I-485 for L1 or B1 visa holder
Hi,
I am getting ready to file for I-485 and want to include my wife, she is working in India and her company would be filing her L1 or B1 visa.
My question is can I include her name in I-485 if she comes here on L1 or B1 visa?
Someone told me that her name can be included only if she comes here on H4(dependent visa).
Please let me know.

As far as she is in status, it is possible to file I485. Although I dont recommend if she is on B1.

BTW, she can not file I485 unless she is physically in the US. ...and entering the US on a B1 with the intent of immediately filing I-485 can cause problems when you get in front of the IO. Much better if she came on an L-1 and adjusted from there.
