Ive been told by numerous people to try to contact my congress person about my AP situation, my questions are as follows, hopefully someone can help me with the answers!
1. What congress person do I contact? Local city or state?
2. Representative or senator?
3. What info do I give them besides the reason I am asking for their help?
4. Should I fax them or email them?
5. Does this end up successful a lot of the time?
I read more than once about people getting through and getting positive results and at this point I want to at least give it a chance since I cant get an infopass in time.
eta: I just noticed that one of the representatives offices are located 5 minutes from my home, would it be beneficial to go in and speak to someone at that office face to face?
What AP situation?
If you need AP because of an emergency, then go to your Local USCIS District Office with an infopass (infopass.uscis.gov) and bring proof of the emergency and plead with the officer for them to send a request to NBC to expedite it.
I cant get into infopass, there are no appointments before we need it. I have NO idea what to do but the options on the infopass for times to get in are all later this month
