Can I go for medical without receipt #?
I am planning to apply for GC through my spouse(US citizen).Can I go for medical without the receipt # , so that I can send the medical report along with my application form.(or should I file for GC and wait for their response for medical)Any thoughts on this will be highly appreciated..

We did our medical and sent it in when we applied we didnt wait for anything from uscis. If you send it in wth your initial package that seems to keep your case moving faster than waiting for an RFE for your medical
You MUST send it with the I-485 application form, therefore, you are allowed to take the medical exam without the receipt number (they will use your passport/visa/alien number or whatever they can get).
How much the medical exam is? (average)
also, at the doctors office do they know what to fill? . I meant the form that must be along wiht the I-485 form
