Question about New GC and SS
When I was on a F1 visa, I received a restricted SS card (the one with can only work with INS authorization)
Since ive received my GC, do i just go into the local SS office and request a non-restricted SS ?

Yes. Download and fill the SS5 form and go to the SS office to submit it (to get the new unrestricted card having the same SSN).
yes, you only need to take proof that youve been granted permanent residence.
