starting from scratch on applying for greencard.

Hi,
Looking for info on where to start on applying for green card.
I am an American citizen and have been living in germany for almost seven years. I met a german, we have two children(4/5) and third on itґs way. We got married on Dec.22 2003 in Minnesota. Now we would like to move to minnesota where I am from. What papers do we need? I found info that says it could take only two months. Could that be possible? At the time we got married we tried to start the application process and he did his medical examination then. it costed over 200$ the envelope is still sealed can these papers still be used even though it was done in april of 2004?
Thanks all for the help ind info. -em-

Are you and your wife in Germany right now? If so you probably want to do Direct Consular filing (DCF). Here is a guide to get you started:

Thank you. I believe this site could be of help. My husband would be the one that we would be applying for. What about the medical exam that he did in minnesota in 2004? Are these papers still good to use?
And as for our children, am I correct about the fact that they become automatic citizenship? I just need to get thier birthcertificates translated. I believe. Thanks for your help! -em-
