Question about I-485 form

Hi Guys,

I am fill out my I-485 , I-765 form now, And I read I need to give copy of my passport and birth certificate.

My passport is in spanish language, Do I need to translated into english? I had friend who only sent copy without translate, he said is fine. But I want to be sure about it.

Also I only have a notarized copy of my birth certificate on spanish too, Can I traslate from this notirized copy or do I have to require a original one from my country?

Thank You guys in advance for your help.

Best Regards

The Visa on your passport should be in english that is what they would care about the most.

Your birth certificate will be fine as a copy, but you need it translated.

Read the instructions on the I-485:

"Translations:

Any foreign language document must be accompanied by afull English translation that the translator has certified ascomplete and correct and by the translators certification thathe or she is competent to translate the foreign language into English."
