Hi,
Thanks for all your help! I have another question now.
In form i-485, in Part 3, a question reads:
"Were you inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer?"
Does this mean the immigration interview (including inspection of visa and other documents) when I 94 is issued , or some inspection beyond that?
Thanks again,
Raashi
If you have an I-94 in your passport, you were inspected by an immigration officer.
Thanks for your reply.
This again I was confused about because in the Misinformation Center told me that Inspection here means that the officer should have checked your luggage etc...not the interview for i-94.
This was in the same call that they mis-informed me that I-864 should be notarised.
I am surprised that there is no check/control on the information issued by their official information call center.
Thanks again.
luggage inspection is done by customs officers. It has nothing to do with immigration. It is a misinformation line.
