Green card sent back as undeliverable
My husbands green card was sent back as undeliverable for some reason. When we called the name and address was correct so we dont know why it was mailed back to them. They also said it could take up to 30 days to remail it (after you call and inquire about it). The website shows theyve had it since August 11 and weve checked the site every day since with no change. Weve put our name on the mailbox and spoken to the post office since. Has this ever happened to anyone?
Were afraid its going to take forever to get his green card and he really needs to work. Hes unable to get a Social Security number because he doesnt have it yet. I cant believe they just sit on this for so long with no action

Go to the DO with the approval notice, the undeliverable notice, and make them stamp his passport.
Unfortunately he doesnt have one. Being from Canada he didnt need one to enter the US. Were just gonna have to wait until they decide to mail it back

The approval notice is the letter you get saying your Green Card is approved, it comes seperately from the Green Card itself. Did you not get this?
I dont know what you husband didnt need because he came from Canada, in fact I really cant imagine what that would be?
