Agree with IM85U that since you entered illegaly even the best lawyer cant get you a green card.
There are many lawyers out there who will promise the sun and the moon for a fixed fee. Then you pay $1000, $2000 or whatever and a few weeks later the lawyer is either out of business or tells you the law has changed. No lawyer will ever tell you anything with certainty. They should give you a list of options available to you and tell you honestly what the possible outcomes are. Any lawyer that **promises** anything is a lawyer you should walk away from. This goes for any area of the law, not just immigration.
Eddie_d, his lawyer told him he cant get a green card. Sounds like an honest lawyer to me!
Can I get green card if my wife support me?
