Can I Still Travel with my H1 after EAD approval and jobchange?

Ladies and Gs. I am a H1 holder married to a USC. My notice date is June 26, 2006 and my H1 is good through August of next year. I am currently waiting on my EAD so that I can get a much better paying job (like many H1 holders, I have been restricted from advancing due to the difficulties in finding H1 sponsors). My question now is that if I change jobs using my EAD will this automatically cancel my H1 visa? Cant I use it to travel?

Thanks for all your advice and support, you guys are really helpful and I hope that we all are able to achieve the peace of mind we are striving for with our immigration applications.

I agree with amishah.

Ok, so that means one will have to apply for one of those travel paroles? Am I correct? If so, how do those work? Are they for one particular trip and does one have to specify a particular date when filling out the forms. Lastly, how long does is the processing time for those?

Thanks
