Does Co-sponsor have to be present at the interview?

Hi everyone,

We have an interview in NYC on Oct 2,2006. My husband’s father is my co sponsor, because my husband could not work for several months and I needed co-sponsor. Does he have to be present at the interview? And is he going to be asked questions? What kind of questions should we expect?

Thank you !

No. Only you and your husband need to attend.

Only Your Husband USC petitioner needs to be present

However you will need ALL suport evidence for from the Sponsor.
Financial evedence, W2 previous tax transcripts, & even a statement from co-sponsors bank account would help.

I need some advice I need a co sponsor and been asking family members, friends for one thing or another they don’t qualify. Anyway my husband a USC has money in the bank and a CD is roughly about $120,000 and we are going to send the bank’s statements and a letter. So my question is do you think this can work? I any advice in this matter is welcome.

I have 40 days to find a co sponsor
