Petition for Alien Relative
Greetings to everyone including the professionals who give advice here
i want to petition for a family member who is here in the states, which is
SON TO MOTHER, i have already filled out the I-130 and filled out the part of adjusting status because shes already here. Now, my question is do i fill out and send I-485 form as well or do i wait until they approve the first form? im not real clear on what to send and where to send, they give an address of Laguna Nigel in california, as i am in california.
im pretty sure this topic has been covered, as i will use the search button, buti think i would understand more i got a response to the post i just made here.

hi there, it dont matter as long as the person u are filing for has entered into the country legal. u can fille either way but it will be alot easier if u file 130 and 485 together.coz 130 approval notice will be sent to u when the whole case is sucessful final.meaning when green card is approved,good luck
person im applying for is not here legally, came to this country without inspection
If they entered without inspection then you will have a hard time getting them a green card. You need to talk to an immigration lawyer to find out all the pitfalls on your case.
