I am really confused about using the I485 the application to register permanent resident. My mom is in Jordan. When i apply, who exactly is supposed to fill it out. How would i have my mom sign it while she is in jordan?

Anybody who filled out the same form with the same process?

I-485 is for people already in the US. That form should be of no interest to you if you wish to bring your mother from Jordan.

Thank you sir, then which form should i file to bring her ? You will need to do consular filing for that. Unless direct consular filing is available(check with consulate for requirements), you will need to file I130 in the US --- once approved, various forms for the consular process need to be filled out. Google is your friend -- check the website of the consulate in Jordan. Follow all the instructions on the forms.
