Confused about my USCIS office

Hi all
My wife, a USC, and I live in Los Angeles and were just sending in the I-130 and I-485. I understand that I should send the whole package to the PO Box 805887 address in Chicago, but there is a section on the I-130 which says:

Your relative..will apply for adjustment of status ..at USCIS office in:____________ (City) ___(State)

Well, were applying to the Chicago address, not to any USCIS office. And if they mean which service center would we have sent it to, as far as I know, there is only the California Service Center, so why city and state?

Should I just put Los Angeles, California (even though theres no USCIS office there and we sent the application somewhere else, not even to the California Service Center) or am I supposed to tell them I send the application to the Chicago lockbox or what?

Sorry if this seems like an obvious question - it just seems like a really strange question, and I feel like maybe Im missing the point of it..

Many thanks
Bruce

Send Everything to the Chicago Lox Box in one envelope, seperate check for each form

Of course there is. And, thats were you are going to be interviewed: USCIS office in Los Angeles, CA. Check out this link: http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/fieldo...es/aboutus.htm.
