I am moving and leaving school...yeh....

But before I leave. I am wondering if my physical exam can be done in a different state than the state that I am applying my Green card.
For example, I applied Green card in Missouri but I get the physical exam from a doctor who live in New York.
Will that be a problem?

so...I assumed I will bring the physical exam papers with me when I go for my interview, right?
And interview seems like often happen 3 months after ND, is it?

What kinda case do you have? Married to USC?
I ask because if your husband is a USC then you were supposed to send the medical examination form with the rest of the applications.

It doesnt matter what state you pick for the doctor, as long as he/she is in the list of authorized doctors with the USCIS.

so...I assumed I will bring the physical exam papers with me when I go for my interview, right? Youre supposed to send the I-693 in with the AOS documents. I thought you had already filed for AOS from your previous mails. If you didnt send the medical then, youll probably get an RFE. Get the medical done ASAP so if you do get an RFE you can send in the seal I-693.
And interview seems like often happen 3 months after ND, is it? In my case, 3 1/2 months, but it depends on how smoothly your filing goes, and also how backlogged your DO is.

My Mom got her medical done in another state than the one where she had her interview. I expected the interviewer to ask questions about it, but she didnt. I guess, its not a problem as long as its from one of the USCIS recommended doctors in the US.

As others have mentioned, if you didnt file your I-693 along with I-485 package, you can expect to get a RFE, which will delay your case by a few weeks at least.

My Moms interview was 7 months from ND. How soon you have your interview, mostly depends on your DOs processing time. Within the same state, if theres more than one DO, each of those have their own processing time. Additionally, it may be delayed if you get a RFE.
