Immigration Site

Hi guys,

I have a good news for myself that my interview will be held on 10/17/06 in Garden City Office, but to my surprise is the information on the notice is wrong.

I am I-485, married USC. 10/16/06 is my 3rd anniversary. We submitted our 1st application on 10/28/2003; Received a letter on 11/3/2003 says that they need 120-180 days to process my case. We waited until 5/24/2006, got an info pass appointment with NYC 26 Federal Plaza, they told me my case wwas denied on 9/20/2005, no reason stated in the system, the immigration officer had no clue to know why. We did not moved or change address, we never received anything from USCIS, didnt done the fingerprint also....

So we filed I-485 package again after that. This time is pretty faster, now I have my interview appointment letter already. But the name is wrong there, they spell it as: first name first name last name. Should be first name last name. Besides, the case # is belongs to my first application, I used my in laws address in my 1st application, so USCIS mailed the notice to them, and the Alien# is not correct, is not the one Im using. The alien# on the notice is the one that immigration officer told me, she said she couldnt find out why they denied me but therere 2 alien# in the system.

Any sugguestion? What should I do? I was planning to go there just like this since this is not my fault, will the immigration officer in Garden City deny me again? Or maybe ask me to go back, or maybe he/she needs another 3 months to adjust my information and ask me to go back wait for another interview letter? What do you think?

Thank you for your reply, but Im still thinking about it. Im so afraid they will take down my name and adjust something in their computer system, then I have to wait for 3 more month again. I know I worried too much, but I really had some bad expirence there. 10/17/06 is my big day, 10/16/06 is our 3rd anniversary. Is it a joke? 3 years already, I got nothing, not even a temp. one. Cant go school, cant have jobs, cant get drive license. My days gone like this, sometime I dont know why Im still sticking around, just because of a piece of GC? Now I know its not easy to marry a USC, so hard to love someone.
