I want to sponsor my parents (they are currently here), I am citizen. One lawyer told me that INS has separate process for lawyer and by your own. So go through with them can expedite the process. Does anyone have the experience?

Thats load of S**T. USCIS does not discriminate its applicants based on whether they have lawyer or not. Of course they might discriminate if they do not like how your nose looks . Im just kidding.

Coming to the point, its easy to do your own filing and definitely there are no documents to write other typing in the relevant information on the forms unlike the Employment based GC process.

Thanks I personally think that it doesnt matter if you go with a lawyer or by yourself, timeline doesnt depend on that as every applicant goes through the same procedure. What matters here is the knowledgable approach in filling out paperwork and following all the steps of AOS process, your DO and luck.

If you decide to take a lawyer, be sure he is a good one. Ive heard a lot of stories that instead of helping people they screw the process though they get paid for it. One thing ,you do it yourself you care ,another thing a lawyer who has lots of people same as you.

Thanks This is a blatant unethical lie and is reason enough for you to get another lawyer or file by yourself. There is only one queue for everyone.
