I married in Aug. last year. However, my wife and I dont really live together after marriage as I need to attend school in east coast while she is working in California. This is my biggest concern for the interview. Do you guys have any suggestion about it?
Hi,
I am in same situation.I got married lat August and I am working in Northeast and my husband in South. We just had had our interview in TX and Officer never asked anything about it.So dont worry even if ask why you are living in different places..as long as you have a honest answer.Good luck
Which address did you guys put in the forms? Did you put the address of the person applying for the greencard or for the sponsor? I mean, where are you going to receive the notice from them? Every form asks you for an address. I am currently living in a different state than my husband (USC) since he graduated last year and Im still going to school (were moving in together after May). Should we just put his address in every form or we put his address in the forms that he needs to fill out and my address in mine? Its just that we heard that changing our DO might add 6 months to the process so since Im moving in with him we want to keep his DO and not mine. How exactly does that work? Is the DO based on his forms or mine?
Payala,
In my forms I put my Husbands adress as he is my sponsor.I think it is best to keep just one address in all the forms as two different adresses will lead to confusion.According to me it would be best if you have your husbands adress on each form as that is going to be your permanent adress.
I have a question about interview
