Translating a foreign birth certificate?When you get something translated you get a certification of the translators competency but do these things expire? I have one already from a translator I used last time and Im wondering if I can use that since it was for a different translation.
As long as its from certified translotor, the translation is needed only once. You dont have to translate it every time you need to use that document no matter what the case is. Can be used for 100s of cases for lifetime. In general you should have the original translation and reveal copies depends - notarized if that is required.
It does expire when the seal of the notary expires, it take a few years, take a look next to the notary sign.
neee, no logic in that. The content of the document stays for lifetime and theres no need to be translatred 10000 of times. Theres no way you are translating one and the same document every time the notorys seal on it expires. Unlogical!!!!
If the notarys seal expires just go with the copy of the translation and get another notary seal again. As in my opinion this is unnecessary as well.
How about getting the apostile for my marriage certificate. The notarys seal expires in 2006. However the issued apostile makes the US marriage certificate acceptable worldwide for lifetime. Are you saying that when the notarys seal expires in 2006 Ill have to get a new apostille because of that. NEEE. Thats completely out of logic man.
As long as on the given day of the month in the year, the notary had the legislative power to do it it makes it acceptable, even if notarys seal expires next day
