Hello everyone,

Just wanted to write that my husbands 10 year plastic green card was received. It actually arrived on November 29th. We have been away on vacation for the past week.

The card arrived a little over 3 weeks from his AOS approval notice. We are surprised how fast it arrived, but glad to have done his passport stamping anyway.

THANK GOODNESS EVERYTHING IS CORRECT ON THE CARD!! His picture is a side view, however.

Now, we noticed that the envelope was postmarked from Mesquite, Texas and nowhere on the envelope does it indicate that it is from the Department of Homeland security. It very much resembles junk mail or a credit card offer. So it is very easy to overlook. The card came with a welcome letter and instructions.

Overjoyed and relieved does not decribe how we feel. It has been a 38 month journey almost to the day. Now, only 32 months to go before he is eligible for citizenship.
