EAD approve, how long will it take to get card
I just got an email this morning for USIS:
On November 23, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you
a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.
How long will it take to get this card?
-Sept. 12 EAD, I30, and I 485 file
RD: Sept. 18
Fingerpring: October 1, 2004
EAD approve: Nov. 23, 2004
Waiting for EAD card now but dont know how long it will take.
it might take from a couple of days to 1 week.
You will receive another e-mail saying theyve sent you a notice. After it youll receive the card in the mail.
My timeline
EAD approval e-mail: 19 Oct, 2004
2nd e-mail: We sent you a notice: 22 Oct,2004
Got EAD card in the mail; 25 Oct, 2004
EAD valid: 19 Oc,04 - 18 Oct, 05
Basicly you can even start working now, unless the employer wants to see your card, because it will be issued with the date of the 1st approval e-mail : 24 Nov.

you will get another email update. i got my card in the mail 10 days after the 2nd email update.
