I DROPPED MY i-130 AND I-485 PACKAKGE ON 28TH OCT 2004 AND NOW IS 20 NOV 2004. NO CHECK CASHED YET ????????????

did u use delivery confirmation?they may have lost ur package....some officers r funny there at CIS

I dropped I-130 and I-485 packet around 20th of october (in san jose office) and have not heard from them yet. My mother-in-laws visitors visa expires on Dec 7th.

What happens if we receive no acknowledgement and time runs out on the visitors visa. Unfortunately, I used money orders for fee and I requested status of payment on MO.

Any advice on what we can do to keep her here until we get a response from USCIS?

We sent my wife AOS on 12/Nov and the check is finally cashed on 22/Nov. We recevied NOAs on 22/Nov/2004.

If you have no case number to go by, there is no way they can help you. In that case, your package may be lost. You can wait until you receive NOA form them....by that should not take too long.

I will resend everything with certified mail and return receipt. Also, I will use personal check if possible.
