If you get it before the interview then all the better.
Its risky afterwards because if US finds out you did that you could lose US citizenship.
However the chances of US finding out is pretty remote just as long as you dont vote in any other country and you use only your US passport to exit and reenter the US.
In the interview dont offer any new information. Dont mention anything about possibly acquiring another citizenship.
