Format of letter for upgrading the case
I am a GC Holder soon to be a Citizen. I have filed for I-130 for my husband 2 years back. He is on H1-b right now. we will be filing form I-485 form for him as soon as I become a citizen.
I have came to know that I have to let INS know about mine to be a citizen and have to tell them to upgrade the status for the I-130 for my husband. Does anyone have a format for that letter?

The only format of such letter Ive ever seen (format valid for Texas SC) is this one:

I dont know if the other Service centers have such templates or you have to write it yourself, respectively your lawyer if you have one + copy of your NAturalization Certificate and probably a short explanation. As far as I know you have to go to your local center and also report that to the National Customer Service Center (800-...)

Thanks a lot. I am googling for finding this kind of letter for my sevice center. Mine is Nebraska.
You may read my details options below. As for the letter format, I just use the regular format myself. My wifes I-130 was recently approved.
