Hello,

Ive asked this before on another thread. Perhaps someone knows for sure.

My husband received his approval notice for his AOS today. Under the date of admission November 3, 2004, it states:

"New Classification: IR-6"

Now, we married in February 2001 and applied for his AOS in August 2001. Yes, people, its been a long wait. I want to make sure he is issued the PERMANENT 10 year Green Card. Is this the right classification?? I cant seem to find this code on INSs website.
