in how much time does one respond to RFE
can anyone please tell me whats a reasonable time to respond to the RFE , is it 45 days from the date the letter is sent by USCIS or 45 days from the time one gets it or is it earlier.

I think it is 30 days from the day it is issued. But ASAP would be the ideal time to respond.
Did you already recieve RFE? It will clearly states within how many days we need to respond from posting date from USCIS
EXample : Birth certificate RFEs/Parents GC RFE will give 89 days time.
