VSC EB2 I-140s
how come I-140s applied in EB3 category at VSC are getting processed quicker than EB2s?
My friend who applied I-140 after me received his approval in a month. Im still waiting. He applied in EB3 and mine is EB2.
Any clue????

My EB3 took 3 weeks and my EB2 took 11 months. Go figure.
I have a guess . Does this approval pattern of 140s for EB3 from VSC and holding off the I 140s for EB2 category from VSC mean that they will approve both I140 and 485 altogether for EB2 peope when EB2 priority dates are moved forward substantially next month and they are waiting for that to happen. Since EB3 is still retrogressed , they are approving EB3 I 140 quickly and keeping away further processing for some time to come for them. Any supporting opinion on this ? Please check our PD dates , country , category and approval /Receipt dates for I 140 which can give us a clue to establish a pattern.
I dont think there is a pattern to approvals. Its erratic because VSC is incredbly disorganized and messed up. To adapt to this process, we could train ourselves at a casino.
